Project - Emerald Lakes
Architecturally designed to a Japanese style plan this build incorporates clean lines and open naturally lit rooms. All rooms are highlighted with viewing to water and garden features that have been incorporated through the internal layout. The home achieved an 8 star BERS (building energy rating system) rating utilising energy efficient systems and maximising natural resources for lighting and solar heating. Solid concrete feature walls were constructed insitu to retain thermal heat in the cooler months. A reticulated water system was designed within the plumbing to minimise excessive water usage with water harvested from a 22000 litre in ground rain water tank. The clients requested a Japanese sunken bath, this was concrete formed and polished to deliver a nature hewn finish. Rich natural timber flooring was used throughout to blend with handcrafted timber window frames.

Project - Tugun Beach House
This Tugun beach house was architecturally designed over five levels by the client meeting all of their requirements and site specific construction due to a narrow elevated block overlooking the ocean. This high end home offered challenges due to the terrain and multi levelled design in its complex engineering. The external timber façade blends into the natural surroundings while making its own statement with its contemporary lines. Internally the home has been finished to the highest of standards and reflects the quality of our tradespeople. The elevated pool and podium was finished in coloured concrete with imported large feature rocks to enhance the landscape. The house maximises its energy efficiency through its thermal insulation and passive design. This was achieved by internal insulation to all walls, floors and acoustic ceilings, together with a controlled water reticulated plumbing system and 8kw solar system. The home includes a C-Bus smart wired system to deliver further energy saving on electrical usage and minimise the homes environmental carbon footprint.
Overall the home is a showcase of modern architectural design, construction and environmental excellence.

Project - Burleigh Heads
Burleigh Heads prestigious Hamptons inspired coastal residence was built by consolidating two building sites and utilising part of one existing residence and seamlessly merging it with the new extension. This home embraces functional and formal beachstyle family living, taking maximum advantage of the prime waterfront position and natural surroundings. The residence encompasses large open plan living areas and transitions out to a stylish outside entertainers terrace overlooking the magnificent lap pool and canal waterfront. The home includes 5 Bedrooms, Gymnasium, Sauna, Rec Room, Home office, Rumpus and large Kitchen and Dining all with high end finishes and fixtures.

Project - Broadbeach Waters
Working hand in hand with our client we have transformed this existing double block property (just under 2000sqm with 40 metres private waterfront into a beautiful and impressive Gold Coast award winning home.
Consideration to the visual, tactile and practical elements of the home have been implemented with informal elegance to provide a relaxed living and entertaining environment with a French Provincial finish.
The residence was completely stripped out and reinsulated complete with smart wiring to achieve an 8 star energy rating. Walls were removed redefining areas which transformed the space into open plan living. The external Balinese style thatching was removed to incorporate a resort style water featured entry. Kitchen and bathrooms were fully renovated to the clients very specific imported finishes.

Project - RUNAWAY BAY
This original 1965 residence has been completely stripped, renovated and extended to transform it into a contemporary comfortable open plan home to meet the needs of today’s modern family. Increasing the original living space from 74sqm to a spacious 265sqm to include 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, media room, study, living/dining and stylish kitchen. The addition of a large entertainers deck, easy care plunge pool and low maintenance landscaping allows the residents more time to spend with family and friends in their own private sanctuary. Quality energy efficient fixtures, fittings and finishes inlcuding polished concrete floors have been integrated throughout. The use of beautiful aged recycled timbers are a notable feature adding character and warmth to the feel of this home as well as being an environmentally responsible option.

Project - Sanctuary Cove
This major renovation was undertaken on a multimillion dollar property within the Sanctuary Cove precinct.
The clients required a total renovation to the existing residence transforming it to a more contemporary and stylish home. This involved a complete strip out and remodelling of the interior wall structures, an upper level renovation comprising of extension of master bedroom and balcony addition.The front entry of the house was redefined and an internal staircase installed to suit the new layout. Support pillars were minimised to provide structural but also utilised as a design feature with built in lighting.
The existing pool was totally reconstructed, removing the internal section from within the lounge area and creating a resort style pool and outside entertaining with barbeque pavilion.

Project - Yeronga
Adding a contemporary design to this existing Queenslander for architect owner, the residence was extensively renovated. The original house was raised and built under to accomodate new bedrooms and rumpus with large laundry area. Upstairs was modernised to included Master Bedroom with new ensuite, study & powder room utilising the existing framework. The front garage extension, gate and front boundary wall were added giving modern contemporary street appeal.

Project - Ormeau Hills
Situated on a steep sloping site this residence provides our clients with beautiful panoramic views across the hinterland. Mass concrete footings & columns were incorporated to support the upper entertaining balconies giving a large open undercroft to be utilised as a recreation area. This construction was built compliant to the high fire rating classification for the area.

This elegant contemporary private residence backs onto the Brisbane river. Rear balconies, pool and landscaped entertainment area maximise the benefit of this natural feature. The home was designed for the modern family and built over three levels with functional open living layout including four large bedrooms + guest room, media room, large home office, and childrens study area. The master bedroom to the top floor opens out to the spectacular Brisbane river views.
